Roger Dean Stadium and Brown Distributing are hosting Baseball & Brews 2013 on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in Jupiter, Florida.
It seems like there has been a beer festival in South Florida every weekend for as long as I can remember which is perfectly fine by me. Roger Dean Stadium is putting their own spin on the craft beer fest craze by offering a minor league baseball game and a hot dog eating contest to accompany over 50 regional and national micro brews – who can say no to that combo?
On Saturday, August 3, 2013, the 2013 Baseball & Brews event will be taking place from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the game between the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Lakeland Flying Tigers will begin at 6:35 p.m. (beer tasting will be from 5:30-8:30)
In addition to the baseball game and craft beer, attendees of the 2013 Baseball & Brews event will surely be entertained by Das Biergarten’s hot dog eating contest – watch on as human eating machines shovel fancy tubed treats into their mouths at extreme speeds.
There will only be 1500 tickets sold for the event this Saturday so if you plan on attending it would be wise to purchase one sooner rather than later. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $18 for Roger Dean Stadium Season Ticket Holders, and $12 for designated drivers.
