Mr. Gyros Review – Jupiter, Florida

Mr. Gyros - JupiterSandbar

Today the Jupiter Sandbar is proud to bring you our Mr. Gyros review.

Greek! Greek! Greek! That’s right folks, Jupiter now has a Greek restaurant that makes delicious food – it has been far too long since I enjoyed a nice gyro platter. Located next to Panera Bread in Jupiter West Plaza on West Indiantown Road, Mr. Gyros is a great addition to our extremely wide variety of restaurants.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are immediately mesmerized by the case of desserts that is strategically placed at the cash register where you place your order – the Baklava looked amazing but in order to keep my girlish figure I had to pass. Keep in mind that you are able to place an order to-go or eat inside of Mr. Gyros at one of the few tables or bar stools they have available. Once our order was placed, service was extremely quick and our ticket number was called in a matter of minutes at which point in time our amazing gyros were handed to us on a cafeteria style tray.

Let’s get into the best part of our posts as we discuss the food at Mr. Gyros with our individual meal reviews:

Beef & Lamb Gyro + Rice Pilaf$8.39LUNCH SPECIAL

Tim’s Meal Review: It has been quite some time since I have enjoyed a well-crafted gyro and I am happy to say that Jupiter is now home to an amazing Greek restaurant. I am a sucker for lunch “specials” so I went ahead and chose the “Any Gyro + Side (Salad, Fries, Rice)” special for $8.39. It may seem a bit pricey at first, especially when a drink costs extra but it is worth every penny – the gyro was huge and the portion of rice pilaf was generous to say the least. I am glad that Jupiter now has a legitimate Greek restaurant and you can guarantee that we will be going back on a regular basis.

Chicken Gyro + Salad – $8.39LUNCH SPECIAL

Dave’s Meal Review: Finally Jupiter has a great Greek restaurant! Just the other day I was mentioning to someone how ever since the place in Chasewood Plaza went away, we haven’t had a good place to get Greek food around town. This place [Mr. Gyros] just opened up a few weeks back and looks like they’ve been crushing it ever since. Every time I’ve been by the place has been packed. Today we swung by at lunch and I got their lunch special which was a Gyro (I got chicken) and a side dish (Got a salad) for like 8 bucks and change. The food was excellent and hit the spot, I’m sure I’ll definitely be back here to get my Greek fix every couple weeks.

In conclusion, if you have been searching for a quality Greek restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, Mr. Gyros is the place that you need to be. While we have only been there once and had their most mainstream cuisine, the gyro, I have no doubt that the rest of their menu will leave you walking away satisfied.
